Broome Boys' JV defeat Chesnee

The Centurions win in home opener.

The Broome JV Boys' Basketball team took the lead early in the 1st quarter and never looked back. Following a 16-5 run, the Centurions were ahead by 5, with a score of 19-14, going into the half. The boys cemented their lead with a 13-4 run to start the 3rd quarter. A tough defensive effort led Broome to victory with a final score of 43-24. 

Leshawn Kershaw finished with a game high 19 points on 58% shooting from the field, to go with his 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. 

KJ Morgan sank back-to-back three pointers on his way to an 8 point night. Also chipping in for Broome were Logan King (8 points, 2 rebounds), Bryzon Lyles (3 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal), and Bryant Davis (2 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal)

Broome finished the game 37 rebounds (9 offensive/28 defensive), five blocks and 11 steals.
