Broome defeats Chesnee by the final of 50-40. The Centurions were ahead 23-18 at the break, but were having to deal with heavy foul trouble and many costly turnovers. The halftime break was much needed as they started the third quarter on a run. Over the next 9 minutes the Centurions went on a 19-6 run to separate the game and give some breathing room at 42-24. Give Chesnee some credit as they battled back to within 8, but some timely free throws and easy buckets sealed the victory for Broome.
The Centurions were led by Khalil Stringer with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 steals; Jarius Jeter with 16 points and 11 rebounds and David Miller with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 1 block.
